All EU member states are required to transpose this directive into national law by 7 June 2026. While each member state may include more detailed transparency requirements – from June 2026 – companies operating in the EU must clearly show how they pay and promote employees, at a minimum. It gives everyone, including current staff, job seekers and business leaders, a new level playing field when it comes to insight and transparency.
